Our Team…

Our team’s goal is help to protect employees in times of need, as well as assist companies in hiring and retaining top-tier talent. As a family owned and operated company, our clients are family and we strive to be an extension of the HR department.

Mike Priestley founded TPC Benefits in 1980 and has helped to pave the landscape for employee benefits in the state of Alabama. Mike played tennis at Samford University in Birmingham, while majoring in Insurance. Shortly thereafter, he founded the company and rapidly grew his practice to work with companies of all sizes and industries.

Josh Priestley has been with the company since 2007 as a Producer and Vice President. He has played an integral role in helping the company grow and is one Alabama’s premier medical experts.

Alison Lindsey assists with service and implementation for our groups. Alison has been the backbone of the organization and has worked with Mike since 2001.

Fischer Priestley started with the company in August of 2022, and is currently working in a sales support role.

Mike Priestley started in the life and disability insurance business in 1980 and has extensive experience guiding clients and building long-term relationships.

Joshua Priestley

Partner / Broker

Joshua Priestley is the founder of Priestley Benefits, LLC. After graduating from Georgia State University in 2006 with a degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric, he decided to work alongside his father at TPC Benefits.

He began his career in April 2007 with one goal in mind, to provide better benefits solutions to employees and make a positive impact on their families. Josh is passionate about serving others and building long-term relationships with his clients. It is his goal to listen to and work closely with each unique business so that he can provide the best service available.

In his spare time, Josh loves spending time with wife (Sharon), his two kids (Paisley and Pierce), his three dogs (Kelby, Ruthie, and Dorothy), and his pet bunny (Daisy). Josh is also an avid golfer, loves fishing, and of course eating good food. Anyone who has met Josh knows that he never meets a stranger.

Josh is also a member of Church of the Highlands and loves participating in small groups, outreach, and giving back to others.

Fischer Priestley

Sales Support / Broker

Fischer Priestley is Mike’s fourth son of seven and started working with TPC Benefits in August of 2022.

Fischer went to The University of Alabama where he majored in Finance, with a double minor in Insurance and Sales. Following graduation, he began his benefits career in Atlanta, with Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company, where he was a sales representative marketing group life, disability, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits in southern Georgia.

Starting out with TPC Benefits, Mike and Fischer decided it would be best to work in a sales support role where he assists Mike, Josh, and Alison with all aspects of the sales and service process. He will slowly transition into sales and is looking to build up a book of his own in the next couple of years.

Fischer is getting married in May 2023 to his fiancé, Madeline Barron, who he has been dating since 9^th grade. His favorite things to do are travel with her and play golf with his friends.

He looks to grow his knowledge of the Alabama marketplace and help to expand the TPC Benefits practice over the next few years.

Alison Lindsey

Customer Support and Service

I joined The Priestley Company in 2001, and as a result of this experience, I have a seasoned perspective on how to assist Mike and Josh in all aspects of sales support, implementation and customer service.

I believe that good customer service requires knowledge, and the ability to solve problems fast and efficiently. In my role as an Administrative Support Specialist at The Priestley Company, I have developed a deep understanding of employee group benefits and take personal pride in assisting our clients.

Outside of work, you can find me spending lots of quality time with my three daughters and two grandchildren. I love event planning and flower arranging as well!
